Digital Floss LLC ("Digital Floss," "we," "us") is a dental marketing agency in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you visit digitalfloss.com, book a call, request a FlossIQ report or receive messages from us, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

What you give us. Your name, email, mobile number, practice name and website, the time you pick for a call, and anything you write in a form, email or message.

What we collect automatically. Pages you visit, links you click, the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location from your IP address. We collect this through cookies and similar tools described below.

How we use it

• To reply to you, schedule and hold your strategy call, and send the reports or materials you ask for
• To send call confirmations, reminders and follow-up by email, phone and text
• To deliver services to practices that hire us
• To understand which pages and ads are useful, and to improve the site
• To show our ads to people who have visited our site
• To meet legal, tax and security obligations

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, Digital Floss may text you about your strategy call, scheduling, follow-up on your request and occasional updates about our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (954) 466-1657. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run our business and this website, and only so they can do that work for us. They include our scheduling, CRM, texting and email providers, our website host, and our analytics and advertising partners such as Google and Meta. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

We don't sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and ads

We use tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to measure visits and to show our ads to people who have been to our site. These companies set their own cookies and follow their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Patient information

Please don't send patient health information through our website forms, email or texts. When a dental practice hires us, any patient information we handle for that practice is covered by our agreement with the practice, including a business associate agreement where HIPAA requires one.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from our emails with the link at the bottom of any email.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
• Email agency@digitalfloss.com to ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We'll answer within 30 days, and keep only what the law requires us to keep.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our site is for dental professionals and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Other websites

Our site links to other sites, such as our social media pages, our book store and booking pages hosted by our providers. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
